Welcome to DrivePhase! These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") establish the standards of conduct for all users of DrivePhase, the AI-powered sprint analysis platform operated by DrivePhase LLC, an Indiana single-member limited liability company governed by its managing member ("DrivePhase," "we," "us," or "our").
BY USING DRIVEPHASE, YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW THESE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES. VIOLATION OF THESE GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN CONTENT REMOVAL, ACCOUNT SUSPENSION, OR TERMINATION.
These Guidelines are incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here (including "Service," "User Content," "Pose Data," "Biometric-Derived Data," and "Consumer Health Data") have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
DrivePhase is a single-user app — it has no public profiles, social feeds, friends, followers, discovery, or messaging between users — so these Guidelines govern the content you upload, your use of AI features, and conduct that affects DrivePhase, other people, or the integrity of the Service. They are not rules for interacting with other users inside the app, because the app has no such interaction.
Geographic Scope — United States Only. DrivePhase is offered only to residents of the United States and is not directed to or intended for residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Residents of those regions should not use the Service.
Excellence: We pursue athletic and personal excellence.
Integrity: We are honest about our achievements and use the platform responsibly.
Safety: We maintain a safe environment, respect others, and use AI features appropriately.
2.1 Intended Use
DrivePhase is designed for:
- Analyzing your sprint videos for technique improvement
- Tracking nutrition and dietary intake
- Getting AI form feedback and sprint analysis feedback through DrivePhase Intelligence
- Managing training plans and workouts
- Monitoring performance trends over time
- Organizing your own training with a private Workout Mode roster, reminders, and saved plans
2.2 DrivePhase Intelligence Guidelines
Appropriate Use:
- Training-related questions (e.g., "What drills improve block starts?")
- Technique inquiries (e.g., "What's the optimal shin angle in drive phase?")
- Performance questions (e.g., "How can I improve my acceleration?")
- Nutrition questions related to athletic performance
- Recovery and training-load management
Prohibited Use:
- Requesting medical diagnosis or treatment recommendations
- Injury diagnosis (consult a healthcare professional)
- Seeking information about performance-enhancing drugs or banned substances
- Questions unrelated to athletic training and performance
- Attempting to bypass AI safety measures or guardrails
- Attempting to generate training plans or advice intended to cause injury to yourself or others
- Using AI features to generate content that could be harmful if relied upon or shared
- Misrepresenting AI form feedback or sprint analysis feedback as professional medical advice or as advice from a licensed clinician
2.3 AI Limitations
Remember:
- AI form feedback and sprint analysis feedback are for informational and educational purposes only
- DrivePhase Intelligence is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or for an in-person AI mentor or qualified expert
- AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies
- Always verify important information with qualified professionals
3.1 Account Abuse
Not allowed:
- Creating multiple accounts
- Sharing your account credentials with others
- Using bots, scripts, or automation without authorization
- Manipulating AI features, rate limits, or usage tracking
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
- Circumventing subscription restrictions or obtaining additional free trials through duplicate accounts, devices, or payment methods
3.2 Content Violations
Do not upload:
- Content you do not have rights to (copyrighted material)
- Inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Videos containing nudity or sexually explicit material
- Content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any way
- Content depicting illegal activities
- Malware, viruses, or harmful files
3.3 Platform Abuse
Prohibited:
- Attempting to reverse engineer or extract source code
- Overloading infrastructure with excessive requests
- Interfering with the Service or servers
- Any use that violates applicable laws
3.4 Nutrition Content Guidelines
Not allowed:
- Promoting extreme diets, starvation, or dangerous weight-cutting practices
- Content that encourages eating disorders or disordered eating behaviors
- Sharing or requesting information about performance-enhancing drugs, banned substances, or dangerous supplements
Remember:
- AI nutrition estimates may be inaccurate — always verify with a qualified professional
- Nutrition tracking should support healthy athletic performance, not obsessive restriction
- DrivePhase's nutrition, calorie-deficit, and weight-management features are not intended for minors; users under 18 should only track nutrition under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or healthcare provider
You are not alone. If you or someone you know may be struggling with disordered eating, an eating disorder, or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out for support. You can call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (dial or text 988) anytime, day or night, and please speak with a qualified healthcare professional. DrivePhase is a performance-tracking tool, not a crisis or treatment service.
3.5 Video Content Guidelines
- Videos must only contain individuals who have consented to being recorded and analyzed
- Do not upload videos of other athletes without their explicit permission
- Videos of minors (under 18) should only be uploaded by the minor themselves (with parental or guardian consent), their parent or legal guardian, or their authorized coach acting with parental or guardian consent
- Do not upload videos containing inappropriate content, violence, or unsafe training practices
- Ensure your recording environment does not capture bystanders who have not consented
3.6 Privacy and Data Misuse
Not allowed:
- Attempting to access, scrape, or harvest another user's account, videos, metrics, nutrition logs, training data, Consumer Health Data, Pose Data, or personal information
- Sharing or republishing screenshots, videos, AI responses, or another person's roster or athlete data outside DrivePhase when you do not have permission to do so
- Uploading another person's biometric, health, nutrition, training, or video data without authorization
- Using DrivePhase to build competing datasets, train external models, or profile athletes without DrivePhase's written permission and the athlete's consent
3.7 Workout Mode and Roster Conduct
Workout Mode lets you create a private roster to organize your own training. The athletes on your roster are free-text names you type in; they are not linked to other DrivePhase accounts and cannot see your data. If you add information about another person (including a minor) to your roster, you are responsible for having any necessary permission — and, for a minor, parental or guardian consent — and for using that information only for legitimate training purposes. Do not add a person's information without authorization, and do not misuse another person's data within or outside DrivePhase.
4.1 Consequences
Violations of these Guidelines may result in:
Warning: For first-time minor violations
- Email notification explaining the violation
- No account restrictions
Temporary Suspension: For moderate or repeated violations
- Account suspended for 24 hours to 30 days
- Cannot access the Service during suspension
Permanent Ban: For severe violations
- Account permanently disabled
- All content removed
- Cannot create new accounts
4.2 Review of Reports and Content Actions
We review reports promptly. The time it takes us to act on a report depends on the nature and severity of the reported content; the timelines below are distinct from the appeals window in Section 4.3.
- Egregious content acted on without undue delay. For the most serious content — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), credible threats of violence, and non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) — we act without undue delay upon becoming aware of it, typically removing the content, disabling the responsible account, preserving information as required, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
- Other reports are reviewed and triaged promptly in the ordinary course. We may remove content, restrict features, or take account action at any time and in any order based on severity, and we are not required to issue a warning before acting on serious violations.
This Section 4.2 governs the window for taking content and account actions. It is separate from the appeals window in Section 4.3.
4.3 Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error:
- Email support@drivephaseai.com with subject "Enforcement Appeal"
- Include your username and an explanation
- We will acknowledge and review your appeal, and aim to respond within five (5) business days
The five (5) business day timeframe in this Section 4.3 is the appeals window. It does not limit the time within which DrivePhase may take content or account action under Section 4.2.
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to use DrivePhase.
- Parental Consent (Ages 13–17): Users between 13 and 17 years of age must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian before creating an account or using the Service. We require you to confirm that you are 13 or older (and that a parent or guardian has approved your use if you are under 18), and we may request verification of age and parental or guardian consent at any time.
- All Accounts Are Private: DrivePhase has no public profiles, discovery, social, or sharing-with-other-users features. Your profile and information are private to your account and are not visible to other DrivePhase users.
- Nutrition Features and Minors: DrivePhase's calorie-deficit, weight-loss, and weight-management features are not intended for minors. See Section 3.4.
- COPPA Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has created an account, we will terminate the account and delete the associated data.
6.1 Your Content
- You own the videos and content you upload.
- By uploading User Content, you grant DrivePhase the license described in our Terms of Service to store, process, and analyze your content in order to provide the Service.
- You can delete your content at any time, and you can delete your account in-app via Settings > Account > Delete Account.
6.2 Copyright
DrivePhase respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This Section 6.2 works together with Section 7.5 (DMCA and Copyright Claims) of our Terms of Service, which contains the full DMCA process, including counter-notification procedures and restoration timelines.

DrivePhase LLC is a single-member limited liability company. We do not maintain a separate legal department or phone support.
We may update these Guidelines as our platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
- Use DrivePhase for its intended purpose — Sprint analysis, nutrition tracking, and AI form feedback through DrivePhase Intelligence
- Use AI responsibly — Don't seek medical advice, don't misrepresent AI output, and don't try to bypass safety measures
- Don't abuse the platform — No multiple accounts, automation, hacking, or trial abuse
- Upload appropriate content — Only videos where everyone has consented to being recorded; extra protections apply to videos of minors
- Approach nutrition healthily — Track to perform, not to restrict; if you're struggling, call or text 988 and talk to a qualified professional
- Respect privacy — Do not misuse another person's videos, health, training, or roster information
- Be honest — Don't misrepresent yourself or your achievements
- Version 5.0 (June 1, 2026): Coordinated 5.0 release with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Added a compassionate disordered-eating/self-harm support note in §3.4 directing users to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and a qualified healthcare professional; restated the six DMCA notice elements in §6.2 and cross-referenced Terms §7.5 so the copyright channel is facially valid; reconciled enforcement windows by separating the §4.3 appeals window (5 business days) from the §4.2 content/account-action timing and committing to act on egregious content (CSAM, credible threats, NCII) without undue delay; aligned the age section to 13+ with parental/guardian consent for ages 13–17, all-private accounts, and a required 13+ self-attestation; clarified that DrivePhase is a single-user app with no public profiles, social, friends, discovery, or in-app messaging features (so the Guidelines govern uploaded content and AI use, not user-to-user interaction) and reframed Workout Mode as a private, owner-created roster (§3.7); added a U.S.-only geographic scope statement; removed the word "coaching" in favor of AI form feedback, sprint analysis feedback, DrivePhase Intelligence, and AI mentor; and aligned defined terms, entity description, and contact details with the Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Version 4.0 (May 14, 2026): Added privacy and data misuse rules and aligned dates with Terms and Privacy Policy 4.0
- Version 3.0 (March 30, 2026): Added nutrition content guidelines, video consent guidelines, AI abuse guidelines
- Version 2.0 (January 26, 2025): Initial comprehensive guidelines
- Version 1.0 (January 1, 2025): Initial release
